Position Overview
The Field Project Manager is a hybrid leadership role designed for someone who can lead by example in the field while helping projects stay on track from start to finish. This person will serve as a key point of coordination between the field team, clients, and internal leadership to ensure projects are completed efficiently, professionally, and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Lead field execution on residential integration projects from rough-in through final completion
- Cook up technicians and delegate tasks to keep projects moving efficiently and effectively
- Serve as a field leader who sets the tone through accountability, professionalism, and hands-on support
- Communicate with clients on-site regarding project progress, expectations, and outstanding items
- Identify issues proactively and work with leadership to keep projects on time and on track
- Help ensure systems are fully completed, tested, and delivered to the company’s quality standards
- Support final project closeout by verifying all details have been addressed before turnover
- Aid in creating and reinforcing field processes and standard operating procedures
- Mentor technicians and help elevate the team’s performance, ownership, and attention to detail
- Step in tactically when needed, whether that means building a rack, troubleshooting, coordinating labor, or helping push a project across the finish line
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in residential AV, smart home, or low-voltage integration
- Experience with residential control and automation platforms such as Control4, Savant, Crestron Home, or similar
- Familiarity with lighting and shading systems such as Lutron
- Proven experience as a Lead Technician, Field Lead, or similar hands-on leadership role
- Strong understanding of residential installation standards, system finishing, and field coordination
- Ability to lead technicians in a way that earns respect and brings out their best work
- Strong communication skills with both clients and internal team members
- Highly organized, dependable, and resourceful under pressure
- Ability to see the full scope of a project rather than only the task directly in front of you
- Comfortable being hands-on in the field while also managing timelines, priorities, and team execution

Pay
$110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
