Job Summary The Audio-Visual Integration Technician is responsible for (1) pulling and terminating cables; (2) understanding cable flow and installation; (3) install equipment and wall rack equipment reading wire diagrams: and (4) programing proprietary equipment for the Company’s clients. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Dress, label, pull, cut and terminate cablesInstalls, connects, and manages video routers and switchesInstallation of camerasIdentify cable types including, but not limited to: SVID, Composite, RBGHV CAT 5, CAT 6, SDI, Fiber, HDMI, DVIMounts and dresses display of various sizes including wall panelsPrograms various equipmentTroubleshoot client complex audio-video equipmentManage inventory of repair and replacement parts including the recording of serial model numbersCompletes and updates daily reports, project photos, timecards and project statusPartners with co-workers and management to provide world-class customer service to clientsComplete all assigned projects in a high-quality manner and in compliance with scopes of project assignmentAdherence to company Mission, Vision, and ValuesOther duties as assigned by Manager Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability Proficient with voltage meter, soldering iron, tone generator, multimeter, cable toners, striping cables and network cable testersAbility to dress racksAbility to read, interpret, and communicate reflected ceiling plans, elevation drawings and room flow diagramsAbility to identify and understand various source platesKnowledge of basics of AC/DC voltageExperience with Microsoft Office and ability to use various web-based portalsAbility to fit into tight spaces including ceiling access panels, closets, interstitial spacesAbility to quickly learn new computer programs and operate mobile devicesAbility to make sound decisions and escalate matters quickly and efficientlyAbility to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints. Qualification Standards Education High School Diploma, technical trade school or equivalent Experience Minimum of two years of experience in audio-video integration technical environment Physical Requirements/ Working Environment The primary working environment is an indoor medical setting. This role requires 100% travel to reach project locations. Employees working in hazardous conditions and areas are required to comply with all applicable safety provisions and to use PPE.
