Responsibilities
- Supports Milestone Management of Auxiliary Systems in support of Electronic Systems Light Off (ESLO), Combat System Light Off (CSLO), Electrical Generator Light Off (EGLO), and Main Engine Light Off (MELO).
- Reviews Auxiliary Systems Industrial Test Procedure CDRL's for technical accuracy against ship specifications and sub tier references.
- Serves as integrator and test witness for the following Auxiliary Systems including the following systems but not limited to; HVAC, CFW, CW, ASW, MSW, Firemain, Ballast/De-ballast, Potable Water, Deck Machinery and Hotel Services.
- Supports Builders, Acceptance, Final Contract and Special Trials.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with LPD Platform Auxiliary Test and Evaluation experience is a plus.
- ACAT Level I LPD program experience of at least 10 plus years.
- Navy Class A/C school experience is preferred.
- Secret clearance.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive bending, stretching, twisting, and reaching for extended periods (up to 8 hours) without undue fatigue.
- Capacity to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds (or as specified by the employer) with or without assistance, and to move heavy materials and equipment safely.
- Muscular strength and endurance to support the body for long periods without fatigue, including using core and lower back muscles to maintain balance and posture.
