AutoZone 2027 Summer Internship – Store Operations

About the role

AutoZone's Top 100 Internship Program is designed to provide students with challenging, real-world experience in a corporate retail environment. You will work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and assist with executing assigned projects. AutoZone is seeking a dedicated and energetic Store Operations Intern to join our team for the summer. In this role, you will assist with optimizing store processes, enhancing efficiency, and contributing to projects that drive performance and customer satisfaction. Your contributions will help support operational excellence and deliver exceptional experiences for both customers and AutoZoners. Throughout your internship, you will collaborate in teams and manage your own projects, working closely with store operations leaders, field teams, and cross-functional business partners. This hands-on experience will ensure your success and provide you with tangible results by the end of your internship.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Must be rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students enrolled in an accredited college or university during the Summer 2027 internship program (June 7 – August 6, 2027).
• Students who graduate before June 7, 2027 are not eligible.
• Must be able to reside in the Memphis area for the duration of the internship.
• Relocation assistance is available for eligible non-local students (defined as those without available family housing in Memphis and whose college/university is not located in Memphis).
• Applicants should apply to no more than two internship roles that best align with their interests, skills, and experience.

• Majors we are searching for: Automotive Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Management, Finance.
• Active experience in AutoZone Stores is strongly encouraged.
