Autonomous Hauling Technology Consultant
About the Role
Join Caterpillar's Autonomy team and play a key role in launching autonomous technology at quarry operations in North America. As an Autonomous Hauling Technology Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of bringing Cat® MineStar™ Command for Hauling to life, helping customers successfully adopt and optimize one of the most advanced autonomous haulage systems in the world. You'll partner with customers, Cat dealers, and Caterpillar experts to ensure autonomous operations are running safely, efficiently, and at peak performance.
This is a highly visible role where you'll serve as the trusted technical advisor during site launch and operational ramp-up. You'll troubleshoot complex system challenges, optimize performance, provide expert guidance, and help customers realize the full value of autonomous hauling technology. While you'll spend your time at the HUB, your focus is on technical leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration with the field team.
Unlike large mining operations, quarry environments offer a unique opportunity to see the direct results of your work every day. With smaller teams, fewer machines, and a highly collaborative environment, your ideas, decisions, and improvements can have a significant impact on the entire operation. This role offers the chance to be a driving force behind meaningful change and be recognized for the value you bring. As Caterpillar continues to invest in and expand Autonomous Hauling Solutions within the quarry industry, you'll have the opportunity to help shape the future of autonomy in a rapidly growing market.
