Automotive Used Car Technician

About the role

EchoPark Automotive is hiring an Automotive Technician to join their team in Thornton, CO. This position offers guaranteed pay, a collaborative and casual work environment, and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
• Inspect and repair a wide range of pre-owned makes and models up to 12 years old.
• Conduct 190 point vehicle inspections.
• Lube, filter, and flush vehicles.
• Repair brake systems and tires.
• Inspect and repair suspension and alignments.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle drivability issues.
• Perform light line work including gasket and seal repairs, component replacement, water pump, and alternator installations.
• Occasionally remove and install heavy line, engine, and transmission components, but without rebuilding or overhauling.

Requirements

• Must be state-certified where applicable.
• At least 6 months of previous Automotive Mechanic experience, or Auto Tech School certification.
• Own a set of tools.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to follow directions and willing to learn.
• Respect for teammates and a positive outlook.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Must own a set of tools appropriate for the job.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
