Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise team members to ensure consistent and efficient operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
- Cookordination activities between staff, drivers, and customers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety rules, union agreements, and government regulations.
- Promote a strong safety culture through audits, meetings, and daily engagement.
- Support hiring, training, discipline, and employee development.
- Oversee equipment and vehicle maintenance operations.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to improve safety.
- Uphold company standards, values, and operational expectations.
- Assist with special projects and additional responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Experience in terminal, transportation, or warehouse operations (or similar environment).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, scheduling, and email systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management position.
- Experience in terminal, transportation, or warehouse operations (or similar environment).
