About the role
The Honda PACT (Professional Automotive Career Training) program is designed for students interested in beginning their career at a Honda or Acura dealership. The program leads to a two-year Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree.
Responsibilities
- Attend classroom lectures and laboratory work on Honda and Acura products at MCC.
- Engage in cooperative work experience at a Honda or Acura dealership.
- Earn while learning, potentially covering part of the program cost.
- Receive advanced and specialized training on latest Honda/Acura-specific equipment and service procedures.
- Participate in paid cooperative work experience.
- Graduate with an Associate in Applied Science degree in Automotive Technology.
- Potentially become ASE certified.
Requirements
- Be 18 years of age or older by the time of first dealer work assignment.
- Meet MCC general admission and academic requirements.
- Sponsorship by a Honda or Acura dealership.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- Full-time enrollment and continuous employment with the dealership.
