Purpose And Summary Statement

Under the direction of the Location manager, provide complete tire sales and service to customers and the company.

Essential Job Functions

• Maintain confidentiality.
• Communicate with Location manager and fellow employees.
• Perform alignment, suspension, and brake work.
• Complete DOT paperwork as required.
• Supply basic tools of the trade.
• Attend all required meetings and training programs.

General Duties

• Visual inspection of each vehicle.
• Note recommendations.
• Complete recommended work on vehicle after review with Location manager.
• Provide accurate unit numbers for company work.

Requirements

• Education and experience: 2 year college degree with a certificate in auto mechanics.
• Experience with mechanical diagnosis, service, repairs, and maintenance of vehicles.
• Knowledge of tires.
• Ability to operate tire shop and truck equipment, and use basic computer applications.

• Valid driver’s license and insurability to operate required Company vehicles.
• Ability to work extended hours to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Ability to climb steps and/ or ladders.

PAY RANGE: $20.00-$25.00 / hr
