Automotive Technician - Post Production - (1st Shift) Bonus: $8,000 (A-Level)

About the role

Carvana is the fastest‑growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history and one of the four fastest companies to reach the Fortune 500. We are seeking experienced automotive mechanics with at least three years of professional repair experience to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general to complex repairs on all makes and models, including timing belts, suspension systems, and heavy engine work.
• Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle electrical issues, including work on electric and hybrid vehicles.
• Complete repairs for wheel bearings and axles.
• Service vehicle climate control systems, including ACs and heater cores.
• Carry out light maintenance through heavy engine work and perform diagnostics on vehicles.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing production environment and tolerate exposure to extreme weather (heat/cold).
• Willingness to use required safety equipment (face shield/goggles, non‑slip shoes, gloves, mask, etc.).
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a background check; role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Some positions may require a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
