About the role

Ira Toyota of Orleans is part of fast-growing Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail. We are seeking a qualified Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
• Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors

Qualifications

• Average of 2 years of automotive technician experience
• A love of everything automotive
• A positive and friendly attitude
• Basic computer skills
• A strong desire to provide an exceptional client experience
• The ability to achieve targeted goals
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver's license

Pay

The pay for this position is $27.90 - $69.00/hr. based on experience.
