Automotive Technician / Mechanic

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive/Service Technician to join our busy shop. This is a full-time position with a pay range of $75,000–$100,000.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles as requested.
• Service vehicles in a timely manner for routine scheduled maintenance in accordance with dealer and manufacturer recommendations.
• Communicate with the designated Service Manager or Advisor regularly about work performed, necessary changes, new parts needed, or any other concerns related to repair or maintenance work on vehicles.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills in automotive maintenance by attending workshops, seminars, or other classes to ensure high-quality work.
• Follow all safety requirements and local and federal standards when working with tools and equipment.
• Adhere to best practices in the automotive service environment, reporting any accidents or incidents to management immediately.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an auto technician in a dealership or shop environment.
• ASE/OEM certification preferred but not required.
• 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Ability to bend, move, lift, and perform physical duties required for the role.
• Must have own tools.
