Automotive Technician/Mechanic

About the role

As a leader in the automotive aftermarket, Meineke is seeking driven and talented service technicians/mechanics to join our team of over 900 shops coast-to-coast. We look for auto technicians who share our passion for high-quality repair work to help get our customers back on the road.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle problems in a timely manner
• Repair vehicles and perform test drives for quality control (must have a valid driver’s license)
• Keep the work area neat and clean

Requirements

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment
• Good attitude and team-player mindset
• Supply your own hand tools
• Complete ongoing training as required
• Basic knowledge of general vehicle services (alignments, oil changes, flushes, tire services, brake replacement)
• Experience with suspension repair
• Good knowledge of air conditioning systems
• Good knowledge of cooling systems
• Good knowledge of exhaust systems
• Strong diagnostic abilities
• ASE Certifications are a plus
