Automotive Technician/Mechanic

About the role

Join Monro’s family of brands, one of the leading automotive service and tire dealers in the United States. We are seeking a full-time Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle diagnostics and identify required repairs
• Complete Monro's Courtesy Inspection process on every customer vehicle
• Aid in inventory management and general store duties
• Perform services in accordance with Monro's safety standards and procedures
• Test drive vehicles following company policy and local traffic laws
• Maintain technical knowledge through required Monro University training
• Operate and maintain equipment safely according to manufacturer guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• ASE certification and State Inspection license (where applicable) preferred
• Current valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
• Ability to operate customer’s vehicles to conduct test drives
• Own a basic set of tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program
