Automotive Technician/Mechanic

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose complex automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and technical schematics
  • Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, powertrain components, and electrical systems
  • Conduct diesel engine repairs and service ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)
  • Perform alignments, vehicle maintenance services, and occasional body repairs
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and modern repair equipment
  • Interpret technical manuals and schematics to accurately identify and resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate findings clearly to service advisors
  • Deliver high-quality workmanship that reflects our commitment to excellence

What We’re Looking For

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent (automotive technology training preferred)
  • ASE certifications in multiple areas of automotive repair preferred
  • Experience working on vehicles with strong mechanical knowledge
  • Experience with automotive electrical systems, diagnostics, and schematic reading
  • Skilled in engine repair, powertrain work, alignments, and general maintenance
  • Familiarity with Volkswagen vehicles or similar manufacturers is a plus
  • Proficiency with diagnostic software and shop equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical findings to advisors and team members

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
  • Ability to safely operate tools and repair equipment

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License (Required)
  • ASE Certification (Preferred)
