As our client continues to grow, we’re seeking a skilled and motivated ASE Automotive Technician to help deliver an exceptional experience for every customer and support the ongoing success of our team. Responsibilities: Determine and investigate any malfunction codes in the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic system using skilled expertise and diagnostic toolsHelp establish service protocols for tracking the status of repairs, maintaining relevant technical manuals, and using chartsApply a checklist-based approach to ensure a comprehensive examination of all vehicle systems, including the engine, air conditioning, transmission, and brake systemsConduct routine maintenance, as needed, such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, or oil changesFollow all manufacturer specifications for vehicle system repairs to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and facilitate returning businessClearly articulate automotive repair issues and repairs needed to remedy them to both the Customer Service Advisor and the Shop ManagerMaintain a safe work environment, maintain company policies, procedures, and productivity standards Qualifications: High school diploma or GED is requiredMust have completed a post-secondary training program in automotive service technology; associate degree a plusAutomotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is preferredStrong customer service and communications skills are neededA valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required for this position We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
