We are seeking experienced Technicians to join our growing team at Chapman Ford of Columbia. Responsibilities

• Receives repair orders from dispatcher and takes to stall area.
• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnostics cause of any malfunction and performs appropriate repair.
• Documents work performed and reason for failure of component.
• Attends factory-sponsored training classes.
• Keeps shop area neat and clean and be able to account for all dealership-owned tool at all times.
• Understands and follows federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the use and storage of chemicals and disposal of hazardous wastes.
• Road-tests vehicles to quality-check work performed.

Requirements

• Automotive dealership experience preferred.
• Ford experience is a plus.
• PA Emission/Inspection License required.
• Valid Driver’s License with no major violations within the past 3 years.
