Kia Automotive Technician

Responsibilities

  • Routine Maintenance - Oil and filter changes, tire rotations and balancing, fluid inspections and replacements, battery testing and replacement, multi-point vehicle inspections
  • Diagnostics & Repairs - Brake repairs, steering and suspension repairs, HVAC diagnosis and repair, engine performance diagnostics, electrical system troubleshooting, transmission and drivetrain repairs, engine and transmission replacement, hybrid and EV system servicing (training provided)
  • Customer Care - Perform accurate vehicle inspections, recommend needed repairs with detailed documentation, maintain high-quality workmanship, help deliver an exceptional ownership experience

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Automotive technical education is a plus
  • ASE certifications are welcomed but not required
  • Previous automotive repair experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Preferred qualifications include:
