Key Responsibilities
- Performs automotive repairs, adjustments and maintenance procedures as outlined on repair order for which technician is trained.
- Oil changes, tire replacement and repairs, general maintenance repairs, fluid exchanges, alignments, brake services, advanced repair and maintenance services, etc.
- Work with, and train lower level technicians.
- Drives vehicles into service bay, prepares them for and completes digital vehicle inspection.
- Test drives vehicles and prepares vehicle for delivery to customer after necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Maintains cleanliness of shop and work areas, performs other duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, and/or technical school graduate/certification.
- Valid driver’s license 3 years minimum experience repairing vehicles at a dealership or automotive center.
- Knowledge of automotive and/or truck systems, tools, and technical resources and training to independently perform a variety of basic to complex repairs and maintenance of automobile and truck vehicles.
- Ability to consistently provide exceptional customer service and improve customer service score.
- Ability to prioritize and deliver work on time.
- Ability and basic leadership skills to mentor and train lower-level Technicians to help them be successful.
Compensation & Benefits Overview
Average annual salary range: $40,000 - $85,000+ with a potential weekly production bonus.
