About the role

Audi of Lynbrook is seeking Automotive Technicians of all levels to join a premier luxury brand facility. Our shop features a fully enclosed service drive, advanced diagnostic equipment, a productivity-focused environment, and a modern customer lounge with a full beverage and snack bar. This opportunity is ideal for technicians eager to grow, advance, and earn competitive pay while working on Audi’s exceptional lineup of sedans and SUVs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Communicate directly with Service Advisors to inform customers of additional service needs and provide repair time estimates.
  • Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
  • Complete other job-related duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

  • Experience at an automotive dealership.
  • Automotive Technical School certificate.
  • ASE Certificates in the Audi family of vehicles (a plus).
  • Strong understanding of the service drive environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Dexterity, steady hand, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
  • Basic computer competencies.
  • Openness to constructive feedback for performance improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • Willingness to learn new technology, repair procedures, and specifications.
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
