Automotive Technician

About the role

Waylands Automotive is a successful and growing motor retail group with 16 representation points across the Thames Valley and the M4 corridor, extending into South Wales. They are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team at their Service Centre in Petersfield.

Responsibilities

• Work towards productivity and efficiency targets
• Repair and service customer vehicles
• Use current diagnostic equipment
• Deliver 'right first time' work
• Have good communication skills

Requirements

• Time served and hold NVQ or equivalent qualifications to Level 3
• Main dealer experience preferred but full training will be provided
• A full driving licence is essential

Qualifications

Although this is predominantly not a diagnostic role, the successful candidate must be able to use current diagnostic equipment, have a proven track record in delivering 'right first time' work, and have good communication skills.
