A service advisor can sell the work. A manager can organize the shop. But somebody has to put the vehicle on the lift and make the repair happen. Your workmanship affects the customer. Perform the repair correctly, verify your work and protect the customer. Produce Quality matters. So does productivity. Keep work moving through your bay. Inspect Don't pencil-whip inspections. Actually look at the vehicle. Find it. Document it. Communicate it. Communicate If something changes during a repair, communicate. If you find additional legitimate work, document it. If you're stuck, speak up. Own Your Work Your responsibility doesn't disappear when the vehicle leaves your bay. Do work you're proud to put your name on. Bring the tools of your trade. We'll provide the shop. Automotive Technicians are expected to own a professional personal tool set appropriate for the repairs they perform. Your tools don't have to impress anybody. They have to allow you to do your job. BFL provides applicable major shop and specialized service equipment.
