Responsibilities

• Rocking routine maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, and filter swaps
• Diagnosing and fixing mechanical or electrical issues in vehicle systems
• Following the manufacturer's playbook and dealership procedures for repairs and warranty work
• Chatting with service advisors and customers, explaining necessary repairs, and giving accurate time and cost estimates
• Keeping detailed records of work done and future maintenance suggestions
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are in top shape
• Always learning and growing with training to stay updated on the latest vehicle technology and industry trends

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician
• ASE and GM certification (optional but beneficial)
• Knowledge of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and interpreting diagnostic codes
• A keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently
