Automotive Technician

About the role

EchoPark Automotive is hiring an Automotive Technician to join our team in Thornton, CO. Our Technicians enjoy guaranteed pay, a collaborative and casual work environment, and a fun, fair workplace. To excel in this service role, you will need excellent customer service skills, effective communication skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards
• Inspect and repair a wide range of pre-owned makes and models up to 12 years old
• Conduct 190-point vehicle inspections
• Perform lube, filter, and fluid flushes
• Repair brake systems and tires
• Perform suspension and alignment work
• Diagnose and repair vehicle drivability issues
• Diagnose and repair air conditioning systems
• Perform light line work, including gasket and seal repairs, component replacement, water pumps, and alternators
• Occasional heavy line work, such as engine and transmission removal and installation (no rebuilds or overhauls)

Requirements

• Must be state-certified where applicable
• At least 6 months of previous Automotive Mechanic experience, or Auto Tech School certification
• Own a set of tools
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow directions and willingness to learn
• Respect for teammates and a positive outlook

Pay

Salary of $55K to $65K+ based on experience. Our technicians are paid a salary with bonus potential—not a flat rate—and pay is guaranteed.
