Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex automotive systems — engine, transmission, electrical, driveline, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and advanced electronics
- Perform accurate, efficient diagnostics using Ford diagnostic software and special service equipment
- Complete warranty repairs to Ford specifications with clear, well-documented warranty stories
- Conduct road tests to confirm repairs and verify customer concerns
- Work directly with Service Advisors to communicate additional needed repairs and provide accurate time estimates
- Maintain dealership standards for quality, comeback-free work
Qualifications
- Ford Senior Master Certification strongly preferred (or ASE Master with the ability to achieve Ford Master)
- 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician
- A-level capability with proven strength in diagnostics, electrical systems, and engine/driveline repair
- Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment and Ford service software
- Complete set of professional tools
- High degree of mechanical aptitude and sound troubleshooting judgment
- Professional, dependable approach to working with Service Advisors and teammates
- Commitment to staying current on new Ford technology and repair procedures
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
