Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues on various makes and models of vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance and service tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Use diagnostic equipment and resources to accurately troubleshoot and fix problems
- Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain repair recommendations and provide cost estimates
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working in the service department
- Complete all vehicle repairs and services efficiently and accurately, while maintaining quality workmanship
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date with industry advancements and trends
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required
- Previous experience as an automotive technician or a strong mechanical background
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have own tools
- ASE certifications are a plus, but not required
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time, hourly position with a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to over $100,000+ per year based on experience and skill level.
