Automotive Technician

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair vehicle mechanical and electronic issues.
  • Provide accurate time and cost estimates for repairs and service recommendations.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Lead and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and training when necessary.
  • Keep detailed records of all services and repairs performed.
  • Continuously improve service techniques to meet the highest industry standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an automotive technician, with a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Minimum of ASE Certification preferred.
  • Previous Manufacturer Certification a plus.
  • Strong ability to diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Road Test vehicles to quality check work performed as required.
  • Must be able to stay on top of technical bulletins that may apply to customer concerns.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Follows manufacturer repair steps and processes for all required repairs
  • Follow repair escalation process
  • Adheres to all factory warranty requirements including time punches, accurate documentation, and parts returns.
  • Maintains cleanliness of vehicles.
  • Keeps work area clean including service bay, tools, toolbox, and surrounding areas.
  • Must be a team player with impeccable honesty and integrity.
