Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicle mechanical and electronic issues.
- Provide accurate time and cost estimates for repairs and service recommendations.
- Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Lead and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and training when necessary.
- Keep detailed records of all services and repairs performed.
- Continuously improve service techniques to meet the highest industry standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as an automotive technician, with a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
- Minimum of ASE Certification preferred.
- Previous Manufacturer Certification a plus.
- Strong ability to diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Road Test vehicles to quality check work performed as required.
- Must be able to stay on top of technical bulletins that may apply to customer concerns.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Follows manufacturer repair steps and processes for all required repairs
- Follow repair escalation process
- Adheres to all factory warranty requirements including time punches, accurate documentation, and parts returns.
- Maintains cleanliness of vehicles.
- Keeps work area clean including service bay, tools, toolbox, and surrounding areas.
- Must be a team player with impeccable honesty and integrity.
