Automotive Technician

About the role

Ole Ben Franklin Mitsubishi is seeking an experienced automotive technician to join their team. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, familiar with dealership environments, and eager to learn about the latest automotive technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair work as specified on maintenance and repair orders, adhering to dealership standards.
• Diagnose and repair various automotive systems, including but not limited to flushes, oil changes, etc.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional repairs.
• Explain mechanical diagnostics and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers.
• Participate in formal training sessions to stay updated with rapidly changing technology.
• Inspect and test new vehicles, documenting findings for necessary repairs.
• Communicate findings to Service Advisors regarding the scope of repairs.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Team-oriented, flexible, and focused on providing high-quality customer service.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment systems, diagnostic equipment, air conditioning equipment, etc.
• Growth-oriented with a willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Willingness to undergo a drug screen.
