Job Summary
Cheap Ford - Smithfield is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. This full-time, hourly position will require a dedicated and experienced individual to perform a wide range of automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles in our dealership in Smithfield, North Carolina. Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range of $20 to $45 per hour, depending on experience
- Hourly wage paid semi-monthly

Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using diagnostic equipment
- Perform complex repairs, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems
- Keep detailed records of all work performed and parts used
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and certifications
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role
- ASE certification preferred
- Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and hand tools
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
