Automotive Technician

We are an independently owned and locally operated full-service shop seeking an Automotive Technician to join our team. We handle routine maintenance, brakes, steering/suspension, engine repair, and diagnostics for all makes and models (domestic, import, and European).

Responsibilities

• Inspect customer vehicles using Meineke’s digital inspection platform.
• Perform routine maintenance, diagnose, and repair automotive vehicles to Meineke’s high-quality standards.
• Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs.
• Uphold Meineke’s commitment to customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service and addressing customer concerns professionally.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience in an automotive repair shop.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Must own hand tools, air/electric power tools, and tool storage.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• ASE Certification and NC State Inspection License are preferred.

Pay

$40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year (hourly pay guaranteed on a 5-day workweek, not to exceed 50 hours). Commission goals are set to reward production.
