**Automotive Technician**

About the role

We’re seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles to the highest standard. We’ll keep you busy, support your growth, and reward your skill — and in return we expect accurate diagnoses, efficient production, and quality work that doesn’t come back.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and computer-related issues accurately the first time
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and manufacturer-recommended and recall services to factory specification
• Complete thorough, honest multi-point inspections and document findings with photos or notes
• Work efficiently to meet and exceed flag-hour and proficiency expectations without sacrificing quality
• Communicate clearly and promptly with advisors and parts to keep promise times accurate
• Follow proper warranty and repair documentation so the story line supports the work
• Road-test to verify both the concern and the repair before the vehicle is returned
• Keep your bay, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and well maintained

Requirements

• Automatic/manual transmission experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Qualifications

• Automotive repair experience required
• Own a set of tools

Skills

• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• ASE and/or manufacturer certifications a plus
