Automotive Technician

Pay

We offer a flag rate compensation structure with 30 guaranteed hours per week. Technicians earn competitive pay ranging from $20.00 to $45.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operation
• Perform wheel alignments, tire services, brake repairs, vehicle inspections, steering and suspension work, oil changes, tune-ups, and general automotive maintenance
• Perform Missouri state inspections or obtain certification to do so
• Use diagnostic tools and shop equipment to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and engine repair issues
• Maintain accurate service documentation for completed work
• Work collaboratively with the team to keep the shop operating efficiently and safely
• Provide professional customer service when explaining repair recommendations to customers

Requirements

• ASE certifications OR 5+ years of automotive technician experience in a professional shop
• Missouri State Inspector License OR ability to obtain one
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
• Experience with tire installation, wheel balancing, steering, suspension, and automotive maintenance

Work Environment

We operate in an automotive service environment where technicians are regularly standing, bending, lifting tires/equipment, working with automotive chemicals, and adapting to varying shop temperatures.
