Automotive Technician

About the role

Byrider Roanoke is seeking a dependable Automotive Technician to join our service team. If you hold a valid Virginia State Inspection License, enjoy diagnosing and maintaining vehicles, and take pride in quality work, we'd love to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Perform Virginia State Safety Inspections in accordance with state regulations
• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and routine preventative maintenance
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and accurately document findings
• Check brakes, suspension, steering, fluids, tires, batteries, and other critical components
• Recommend needed repairs to ensure vehicle safety and reliability
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures

Requirements

• Valid Virginia State Inspection License (Required)
• Previous automotive technician or maintenance experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
