Responsibilities

• Assist experienced technicians with vehicle diagnostics and repairs
• Engage in hands-on learning, performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Observe and assist in more complex repairs, gaining valuable insights into various automotive systems
• Work Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, providing a consistent schedule
• Troubleshoot issues, keep workspaces organized, and maintain safety standards in the shop

Requirements

• A valid Michigan Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. independently and safely participate in buddy lifting for heavier tasks
• A foundational understanding of automotive systems
• Familiarity with basic repairs, including oil changes, tire installations, and general maintenance
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of automotive systems
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and buddy lift beyond that
• Ability to effectively diagnose and repair vehicles based on certification and experience
• Experience with basic repairs such as oil changes, tire installations, and general maintenance
