Automotive Technician | $35–$40/HR | No Weekends - 2323

About the role

Miller Motor Company is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician in Centre Hall, PA, offering $35–$40/hour with a guaranteed 30 hours per week. This Monday–Friday position has no weekends and includes performance bonuses based on billed hours. Technicians service Domestic, European, Asian, and light-fleet vehicles in a busy independent repair shop with onsite parts support and experienced shop leadership. The shop features seven service bays, four lifts, a four‑post alignment lift, onsite Carquest parts department, Autel and Snap‑on diagnostic equipment, Tekmetric shop management and Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI), Steer CRM, and support from the parts team and shop manager.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical and drivability concerns
• Perform engine repairs and general automotive service
• Inspect vehicles and identify needed repairs
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI)
• Communicate findings with the Service Advisor
• Work with the parts team and Shop Manager to maintain efficient workflow
• Complete quality repairs across multiple vehicle makes and models

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recent professional automotive technician experience
• Strong diagnostic, electrical, drivability, and engine‑repair skills
• Current Pennsylvania Inspection License required
• Current Pennsylvania Emissions License required
• Experience servicing multiple vehicle makes
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a team
• Independent repair shop experience and ASE Certifications preferred

Pay

• $35–$40/hour
• Guaranteed 30 hours per week
• Performance bonuses based on billed hours
• Top technician earns approximately $100,000 annually
• Individual earnings depend on experience, productivity, and the applicable pay structure
