About the role
Join the winning team at Plaza Tire Service! Established in 1963, Plaza Tire Service operates 75 locations across Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, and Northwest Arkansas. We are currently seeking a qualified Store Manager in the Columbia area.
Responsibilities
- A friendly, customer-focused attitude is essential for this role.
- Leading a team of employees and interacting directly with customers who need tires, routine maintenance, and other services.
- Ensuring that the store maintains high standards of customer service, handling escalated customer complaints, and setting clear expectations for employees.
- Analyzing and implementing strategies to maximize sales and meet or exceed profit targets.
- Managing inventory and ensuring accurate records.
- Developing and executing business plans to achieve financial goals.
- Coaching and counseling employees to improve their performance and align with company standards.
- Working closely with the District Manager to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Conducting performance evaluations for all employees.
Requirements
- Possess a current, valid driver’s license.
- Five or more years of experience in sales within an auto repair shop management position or equivalent business experience in the automotive industry.
- Proven ability to develop and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and profit goals.
- Experience in managing and coaching teams to success through effective communication, business development, and strategy implementation.
- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or similar position is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.

Pay
$90,000 - $150,000 per year, to include base plus bonus. Base pay ranges from $65,000 - $80,000/yr.
Schedule
Minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
