Automotive State Inspector

About the role

We’re looking for a licensed Motor Vehicle State Inspector with at least 1 year of professional automotive repair experience to join our team at Carvana. Carvana is a rapidly growing used automotive retailer in the U.S., and we offer competitive wages, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform light maintenance or repairs, including changing brakes and tires
• Conduct routine inspections/maintenance on vehicles
• Perform basic mechanical repairs for brake pads/calipers/rotors, tire installations, and wheel alignments
• Work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment
• Be prepared to work mandatory overtime based on business needs

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently
• At least 18 years of age

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional automotive repair experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment
• Some positions may require a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
