Automotive Service Writer

About the role

This is a customer-facing role with real earning potential and long-term opportunity. You will be a key connector between customers and technicians, helping to keep the shop running smoothly while delivering a professional, positive experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout their service visit.
• Greet customers, listen carefully to their concerns, and accurately document vehicle needs.
• Communicate closely with technicians to understand repair findings, translate technical information into clear and honest recommendations, and present service options with confidence and transparency.
• Provide timely updates, keep repair orders moving efficiently, and ensure all estimates, approvals, and invoices are properly documented in the system.
• Participate in daily shop meetings to stay aligned, proactive, and focused on delivering a smooth, professional experience from drop-off to vehicle delivery.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Working knowledge of auto parts and mechanical systems
• Basic computer skills and strong communication abilities

• Realistic annual earnings of $45,000-$52,000
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-6:00 PM, with rotating Saturdays
