Automotive Service Technician (entry level)

We are seeking skilled Service Technicians to diagnose and repair client and dealership vehicles while maintaining positive client relationships. Our shop values honesty, integrity, and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose vehicles.
• Discuss repairs with the shop foreman or service advisor.
• Communicate additional service requests to a service advisor.
• Plan work procedures in cooperation with the shop foreman.
• Provide labor time estimates to a service advisor.
• Monitor repair time and update the service advisor regularly.
• Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation.
• Complete story and documentation for client repairs.
• Assist in mentoring technician trainees.
• Attend company and factory training.
• Keep current with factory technical bulletins.
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., disposal of hazardous waste).
• Keep the vehicle you are working on clean and free of grease and oil.
• Apply proper use of PPE and adhere to safety standards in the shop environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One‑to‑three years of related experience and training.
• Authorization to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment background checks, MVR, and drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Pay

Compensation based on experience and certifications; $50 K up to $200 K.
