Automotive Service Technician

Role Overview The General Service Technician performs basic automotive services such as oil changes, tire mounting, balancing, and rotation. Responsibilities include driving customers, picking up parts, maintaining shop cleanliness, and conducting safety and emissions inspections in accordance with company and state guidelines. The technician observes vehicle conditions, documents findings, and reports safety concerns while adhering to safety procedures and company policies. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and a basic understanding of vehicle mechanics and assemblies. Candidates should be able to work at least five days a week, including weekends. Physical demands involve standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in environments with noise, fumes, and varying temperatures.
