Role Overview: The General Service Technician performs basic automotive services such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel balancing, and light maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include conducting tire mounting/dismounting, maintaining shop cleanliness, driving vehicles safely, transporting customers and parts, and conducting state safety and emission inspections where applicable. The technician documents vehicle conditions using multi-point inspections, follows safety procedures, and adheres to company policies. Qualifications & Skills: A valid driver’s license, minimum age of 18, and a general understanding of vehicle mechanics are preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is advantageous. Physical & Work Conditions: Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 70 pounds, bend, kneel, and work in environments with dust, fumes, and noise. Vision must be sufficient for color and depth perception. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
