Automotive Service Technician

Role Overview: The General Service Technician performs basic automotive services such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel balancing, and light maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include conducting tire mounting/dismounting, maintaining shop cleanliness, driving vehicles safely, transporting customers and parts, and conducting state safety and emission inspections where applicable. The technician documents vehicle conditions using multi-point inspections, follows safety procedures, and adheres to company policies. Qualifications & Skills: A valid driver’s license, minimum age of 18, and a general understanding of vehicle mechanics are preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is advantageous. Physical & Work Conditions: Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 70 pounds, bend, kneel, and work in environments with dust, fumes, and noise.
