Automotive Service Technician

Role Overview: The General Service Technician supports vehicle maintenance by performing oil changes, tire services, inspections, and basic repairs. This entry-level position emphasizes learning foundational skills, safety procedures, and shop operations while collaborating with experienced technicians and staff. Key Responsibilities Conduct tire mounting, balancing, and rotation services.Perform oil changes, fluid checks, and basic maintenance tasks.Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and accurately document repair orders.Identify safety issues, communicate findings, and conduct safety and emission inspections as permitted.Maintain cleanliness of vehicles, shop, and customer areas.Transport parts, tires, and supplies as needed.Follow safety protocols, use PPE, and report hazards.Collaborate effectively with team members and accept ongoing training. Qualifications & Skills Dependable, mechanically inclined, safety-focused, eager to learn.Interest in automotive repair, ability to follow procedures and safety standards.Valid driver’s license and ability to work a flexible schedule.Preferred: high school diploma, vocational training, or relevant hands-on experience; ability to obtain state inspector license if required.
