Automotive Service Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Detect and diagnose automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical, and HVAC.
• Perform repairs as specified on repair orders, adhering to Chevrolet dealership standards.
• Conduct inspections on both new and used vehicles to ensure safety and quality.
• Test-drive vehicles and utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to identify issues.
• Communicate with Service Advisors about repair status, estimates, and customer recommendations.
• Execute warranty repairs and recall work according to GM guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an automotive technician, auto mechanic, or dealership service tech preferred.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment and follow repair procedures.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• A positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a customer-first mindset.
• A willingness to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
