Automotive Service Technician

Role Overview: The General Service Technician supports automotive maintenance in a shop environment by performing essential services such as oil changes, tire services, and basic inspections. This entry-level position involves learning foundational skills, assisting with vehicle inspections, and maintaining shop cleanliness. Responsibilities: Conduct tire mounting, balancing, and rotations; perform oil changes and routine maintenance; complete digital vehicle inspections; identify safety issues; assist with safety and emission inspections; ensure customer vehicles and work areas are clean; transport parts and supplies; follow safety procedures and PPE protocols; collaborate with team members; and support ongoing training and development. Qualifications & Skills: Reliable, safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and able to follow procedures. Must have a valid driver’s license, be 18 or older, and work flexibly, including weekends. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma, vocational training, or hands-on experience in automotive work, with the ability to obtain relevant licenses if needed.
