Automotive Service Technician

About the role

Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM of Missoula is hiring a Service Technician. Ideal candidates must have open availability to work any day/shift.

Responsibilities

• Detect and fix vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to keep vehicles running smoothly.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify problems accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding maintenance and repair needs and procedures.
• Stay current with automotive technology and techniques through ongoing learning and training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, 18 years or older.
• Experience as an automotive technician.
• AASE certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• A willingness to learn and grow.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must pass a background check.

Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

Pay range: $25 - $40 per flat rate hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Ideal candidates must have open availability to work any day/shift, Monday through Saturday, from 7:00 am - 6:00 pm.
