About the role
Dewey Dodge, a large and reputable Ken Garff Automotive Dealership, seeks an Automotive Service Technician (Mechanic) who aligns with their core values of respect, integrity, growth, humility, and teamwork. Responsibilities
- Perform efficient and expert work on repair orders, adhering to dealership, state, and factory standards.
- Maintain knowledge of all factory-technical bulletins.
- Address customers' primary concerns with diagnosis, repair, and quality control to meet 'Fixed First Visit' expectations.
- Conduct the KG Electronic Multi Point Inspection on every vehicle; notify the Service Advisor if additional issues arise.
- Master the Dealer Management System (Reynolds) for timekeeping, work distribution, electronic inspections, repair quotes, and communication.
- Be accountable for all dealership-owned tools and maintain a clean workspace and vehicles.
Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of automotive technician (mechanic) experience preferred.
- ASE or dealership manufacturer certifications.
- Accommodating and analytical, with highly precise and accurate work.
- Excellent dexterity, patience, creativity, good judgment, and attention to detail.
- Unselfish and approachable, with a preference for detailed, skill-based work.
- Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid in-state driver's license and a good driving record, per company standards.
