Responsibilities For Technicians

  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and according to dealership and ethical standards
  • Perform Virginia State Inspections, maintenance, alignments, minor brake and suspension work
  • Test-drive vehicles, test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers about any additional service needed and provide an estimate of repair time
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
