About the role
As a Service Technician Associate at Latitude AI, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a growing fleet of hybrid and electric vehicles. You will also diagnose issues, communicate with cross-functional teams, and validate the functionality of various systems including DAT, ADAS, AV, and EV.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair a growing fleet of hybrid and electric vehicles
- Accurately document all findings and track time accordingly
- Diagnose issues using supplied hardware and software combinations
- Communicate with cross-functioning teams on electrical and electronic systems and autonomous control systems
- Validate DAT, ADAS, AV, and EV systems functionality
- Work in small teams as needed to complete any engineering requirements
- Track inventory of the location's parts and supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent with two (2) years of employment experience
- Experience working on vehicles professionally. Garage experience preferred
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic hardware and software
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology or similar
- Knowledge of Google Suite programs including Documents, Sheets and Gmail
- Experience with the function, installation, repair, and replacement of autonomous vehicles or active safety equipment
- Experience with flashing and re-flashing automotive control modules and CAN (Controller Area Network) bus operation
- Familiarity with vehicle integration software and data collection
- Familiarity with the use of oscilloscope or picoscope
