Job Overview
Middletown Chevrolet is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join their busy, high-volume service department.
Automotive Service Technician Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues accurately and efficiently
- Complete repair orders according to manufacturer standards
- Work closely with service advisors to communicate repair needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Stay up to date with Chevrolet training and technical updates
- Meet productivity and quality goals as a professional service technician
Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician experience preferred (GM experience is a plus)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ASE Certifications Preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
