Automotive Service Technician 1,2

Responsibilities

• Performing vehicle repairs and maintenance such as tire installation, wheel balancing, oil changes, and brake system repairs
• Installing batteries, headlamps, and other basic automotive parts
• Providing excellent customer service and effective communication with customers and coworkers
• Participating in ongoing training and completing assigned duties with progressive on-the-job learning

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass drug screening and background checks
• Strong communication skills and ability to work evenings and every other weekend
• Ability to read and speak English, and to effectively interact with customers and team members
• Must be 18 or older; prior auto repair and retail experience preferred
• For Michigan stores, ASE certifications or equivalent required for higher technician levels
